As the dust settles on the 2024 EnduroCross season, I find myself reflecting on a journey full of highs, challenges, and unforgettable moments. This year has been a rollercoaster, but it’s also been a season of growth, discovery, and some incredible breakthroughs—culminating in a career-best finish at the final round in Everett, WA.
From Colorado Springs to Redmond, each round brought its own challenges and lessons. Whether it was refining my race strategy, nutrition, or staying mentally sharp under pressure, I embraced every opportunity to improve. Rodney Smith has been a wealth of knowledge throughout the season and it has been special to work with him. Thank you Rodney!
By the time I rolled into Everett for the final round, I felt ready. There was something different about that night—the energy and the mindset. I was frustrated after a sub par performance the weekend before in Redmond Oregon and I was determined to use that energy in a positive way.
I knew it was my time to step up, and I’m proud to say I did.
Aggressive and Focused in Everett.
The final round was nothing short of magical.
The track was treacherous with huge deep ruts and lots of slick logs which suited my style perfectly. I love a technical track that requires focus and skill.
I went into the motos with an aggressive approach, charging hard right from the start. It paid off in a big way—I made quick passes, found my rhythm early, and never let fatigue creep in. Scoring 3-1-7 for second overall with my first moto win was a moment I’ll cherish forever. Winning felt incredible, but what stood out the most was the realization that I CAN do it. Now that I know how to do it and that I am 100% capable, I am motivated and excited for more. I am already stoked for the 2025 Endurocross season.
Highlights
The Highlight of the year was that first moto win, and the crowd erupting as I crossed the finish line was unforgettable. Hearing the cheers and seeing people on their feet was surreal—it felt like everything I’d worked for was coming to life in that moment. Having my family and friends there to share in the excitement made it even more special. Cody Webb and Trystan Hart gave me a hug before my interview with Kristen Beat, it feels good to be respected and congratulated by my competitors. I represent the people. I'm not a prodigy with unlimited resources. I come from a normal family, and with hard work and dedication, one is capable of extraordinary things.
Lowlights
The lowlight of the year was the low that came after Redmond Oregon. After mediocre performances in Idaho Falls and Oregon, I was kicking myself. That frustration turned into fuel for the final Endurocross round in Everett. It's easy to get down on yourself in this game. I've learned that it's not optimal to shame myself into being better. Instead, pull a tear of and keep charging.
Lessons and Gratitude.
This season reminded me of the importance of perseverance, mindfulness, and enjoying the process. From long hours of training to late nights traveling, it’s easy to get caught up in the grind. Moments like Everett are why we do this—they’re the fuel for the fire. It's also important to keep a level head. There will be up's and downs, just like life itself, so keep a level head. Your attitude and perception are within your control and choice. Choose wisely! My old man always said "Your attitude is the one thing you have total control of". He is right.
I’ve learned how to win this year, and now I want to do it more. The taste of success has only made me hungrier to push further, train harder, and compete smarter in 2025.
I’m deeply grateful to everyone who supported me along the way—my family, friends, sponsors, and fans. Your belief in me keeps me pushing forward, striving for more, and loving every second of this journey.
Looking ahead
While the 2024 EnduroCross series is over, the pursuit continues. I’m already thinking about next season and how to build on this year’s successes. With the lessons I’ve learned and the memories I’ve made, I feel more motivated than ever to take it to the next level.
Thank you for following along this season. Whether you were in the crowd cheering me on or watching from afar, your support means the world. Let’s keep chasing the dream together.
Here’s to 2025—see you at the starting line!
Keep Charging, Always!
